Steroid hormone (E2 and T) levels in HepG2 cells were measured by using the ELISA kits (Shanghai Hengyuan Biological Technology Co., Ltd, China), according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Cyclic AMP (cAMP) levels in HepG2 cells and BRL-3A cells were determined by ELISA kits (Shanghai Hengyuan Biological Technology Co., Ltd, China) following the manufacturer’s instructions.

After treatment, the cell culture supernatant of HepG2 cells and BRL-3A cells was collected for testing. ELISA kits (Shanghai Hengyuan Biological Technology Co., Ltd, China) were used to determine the releases of TNF-α and IL-6.
